Objective
The main objective of the division is to provide street lights in
all the 66 wards, in addition to looking after the maintenance
of electrical appliances/equipment's of their Zonal & Ward offices.

Municipal Corporation also provides lighting arrangements for special occasions like festivals, VIP visits etc. To speed up the work, municipal corporation has also made provisions of 2 hydraulic platforms to this division.
